Any good book recommendations for complete beginners?
Teach Yourself Visually series, published by IDG Books.
This series includes books on individual operating systems, such as Teach Yourself Windows 98 Visually, and also has an excellent book called Teach Yourself the Internet and World Wide Web Visually.
While both an operating system book and the Internet book are good resources, we recommend starting with just the one that covers your operating system.
This series is very popular and most likely available at your local bookstore.
